Founded in 1962, the Auxiliary to Community General Hospital is a volunteer organization dedicated to raising funds and providing services to the Central New York community through advocacy, education and service.
The Auxiliary is comprised of members of our community who contribute their time, talents and treasure to the benefit of the hospital, its patients, physicians and staff. Together, they have raised over $1 million since the inception of the hospital in 1963.
Patients have benefited greatly as these funds have been used to enhance programs, fund equipment purchases, and make improvements to the hospital facility and grounds. Additionally, the auxiliary takes pride in having awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships to hospital volunteers, nursing students and employees.
